Sleeving is a packaging method where a PET or PLA sleeve is shrunk by heat around a product or products.
Applications: co-packing, bundling, promotions, removal of safety sleeve with pre-cut opening, decoration.
Technique: placing a PET or PLA sleeve, the printed or transparent sleeve, around one or more products and then heat shrinking.
Equipment: manual preparation and thermal tunnels.
Advantages: very qualitative smooth and shiny wrapping. Allows you to co-pack two products, identical or different. Serves as proof of the integrity of the product. Can also be used to prevent the opening of a tube or vial.
